I
am a third-year undergraduate student at Michigan Technological
University, studying both Electrical Engineering and Computer
Engineering. I anticipate graduating in the Spring of 2015, and am keeping
my thoughts open about moving on to grad school. But for right now, I
am very interested in getting an internship for this upcoming summer.
At
Michigan Tech, I currently hold a 3.32 culmulative GPA. I am the
Recording Secretary in MTU's section of the Electrical and Computer
Engineering Honor Society, Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), which is a subgroup of
IEEE. I am also a member of the Society of Women Engineers and
regularly attend meetings on campus. I am currently taking 20 credit
hours while maintaining a part-time on-campus job as a Student Research
Consultant at the Van Pelt and Opie Library. Some of my current courses
that I am taking that are relevant to my studies are Electromagnetics,
Electronics & Lab, Linear Systems and Controls, and Systems
Programming.
My
past internships were at Ford Motor Company and Takata. I interned at
Takata during the Summer of 2012 as an Engineering Intern. I was
brought in to help with testing of a new product being developed
internally, but was also given the task of developing a vibration
steering wheel demonstration. This past summer, I interned at Ford
Motor Company as a
Product Development Intern. I worked in the Electrical and Electronic
Systems Engineering (EESE) department in the Infotainment Systems
group. My main objective was working with programming and simulating
CAN signals by implementing various SDARS functions into the existing
CANoe model for the group. More information on my work projects are
included in the Projects section of this website.
In
my spare time, I enjoy playing piano and learning how to play
accordion. I also am interested in softball, after playing
competitively for a total of 10 years. I love art and love to sketch
whenever I can.
I developed this website myself using Kompozer and Inkscape.
